Role Overview & Specifications
Our company is seeking a skilled Brick Mason to work with a highly committed team to complete a variety of tasks. The ideal candidate for this position is able to work well with others, has a strong comprehension of brick masonry, and has various construction experience. This position is a good fit for an individual who has an eye for detail and can regularly calculate figures in order to ensure that deadlines are met.
Responsibilities:
- Use ganged brick saw or bricklaying machine to cut bricks for paving, steps and walls.
- Prepare site for bricklaying.
- Assemble scaffolding and other support structures for bricklayers.
- Lay brick in foundations, walls, floors, and chimneys.
- Balance loads on brick mortar bed.
- Build houses and other wood-frame structures.
- Lay bricks and concrete blocks in foundations or walls.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £190.00-£220.00 per day
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
