Warehouse Forklift Operator

Receive, store, load and move building materials in the warehouse and in the loading of trucks. Workweek is Monday through Friday and may require some overtime work.

Must have ability to effectively and safely handle a forkliftMust be able to read the customer order, shipping order, purchase order, and/or bill of lading to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributedMust be able to count and perform simple arithmeticMust be able to physically move material either by forklift or by hand to unload incoming materials from railcars, trucks; and, to load outgoing deliveriesMust be able to identify products and accurately handle items specified on written company documentsMust be able to keep warehouse clean and orderlyNeed to maintain good business relations with customers who come to the warehouse to pick up material
