Margin Analyst

Client: Corporate Investment Bank

Position: Margin Analyst - Investment Analyst Address: : Jersey City, NJ 07310-1616Hours: 8am - 6pm EST

POSITIONThis role is for a Margin Analyst within Wealth Management Capital Markets Operations. The candidate will be supporting the heritage securities cash and margin accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES • Monitoring daily exception reports and working with account representatives to resolve• Maintaining client attributes and updating margin haircuts in response to market conditions and risk evaluations• Producing simulated margin calculations upon request by clients and Risk partners• Generating metrics and KPI reporting to senior management• Approving collateral withdrawals (wires, security deliveries, journal entries)

QUALIFICATIONS• 3 years of Investment Banking

experience (Securities Operations preferred)• Knowledge of trading mechanics of Equities, Fixed Income, Options Margin Lending knowledge (e.g. Regulation T) is a PLUS• 1 year of Derivatives and products knowledge (e.g. Credit Default Swaps, Credit Spread) a big PLUS • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) credential or FINRA or Series 99 Certification a big PLUS• Strong Microsoft Office

skills (Excel: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Macros)• Bachelor’s degree (Accounting or Finance) preferred or equivalent work
