Manufacturing Operations Manager - Foiling Department

Foiling ManagerAbout the company:
A leading supplier of the highest quality printed cartons are currently seeking a Foiling Manager who will report to the Senior Production Manager. The successful candidate will oversee foiling activities to ensure quality and analyse and improve processes, productivity and efficiency.

Working 7.5-hour days, Monday-Friday.

• Oversee Foiling activities to ensure quality.
• Review products, processes and systems on an ongoing basis to determine where improvements can be made.
• Identify and investigate problems and recommend corrective action.
• Ensure that all company and departmental policies and procedures are properly communicated and enforced.
• Support Administrative tasks within the Production Office as required
• Own the inspection and sign-off process of Foil dies and work with Foiling Operators to ensure that Quality Standards are maintained.
• Maintain inventory in Foiling Unit, ensuring that all materials are ordered to facilitate production in this area as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience managing a successful team.
• Previous Foil Blocker experience would be an advantage.
• Good understanding of systems management.
• Experienced with working with spreadsheets and databases.
• Microsoft Excel proficient.
• Excellent attention to detail.

• Salary range; £33,000 - £40,000.
