Summary

Coordinates, develops and executes recruiting and staffing strategies and provides consultative guidance to hiring managers on the recruiting process and market conditions. As a Talent Advisor, you will be instrumental in ensuring a great candidate

experience, building relationships with business partners, and working cross-functionally across the CSX network.

Primary Activities And

Responsibilities

Screen applications. Build and manage relationships with candidates, internal team members, business partners and vendors Implementing non-tradition sourcing and recruiting methods, using internet, social media, etc Manage the interview process to include scheduling, preparing questions and other materials, and participating as an interviewer when needed Manage the requisition process including creation, posting, maintenance, and hiring decisions Ensure high quality candidate

experience through appropriate communications. Manage the offer process including establishing

salary ranges, other incentives available, start date, etc. with Human Resources (HR) Business Partners and Hiring Manager Advise hiring department to ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations as well as company policies Interact with customers to evaluate staffing needs Facilitate New Hire Orientation Miscellaneous activities and

responsibilities as assigned by manager

Minimum

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution required 5 or more years of

experience required in Full-Cycle Recruiting or Staffing 3 or more years of

experience in participating or leading projects

Preferred

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree/4-year Degree 2 or more years of

experience in Full-Cycle Technology Recruiting or Staffing 2 or more years of

experience in participating or leading projects 1 or more years’

experience in the Railroad Industry PHR (Professional in Human Resources)

Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and excellent follow – through in a fast paced and ever – changing environment Strong in-person presence and ability to drive executive – level conversations with data and insights Knowledge of core staffing processes, along with, Human Resource concepts and procedures Oracle or other applicant tracking system knowledge/

experience Must have ambition and be a self-motivator Knowledge of Human Resource Information System(s) Knowledge of FCRA regulations, DOL & OFCCP regulations and other Human Resource compliance related issues Creating and facilitating presentations Microsoft Office
