Salary: Base

salary of $80k-$100k, plus $10k-$30k in annual bonus (based on gross revenue)

Job

Summary: Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to lead and manage a team of technicians in their commercial trailer repair shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in commercial trailers, excellent leadership and management

skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members. This role involves overseeing all aspects of trailer repair operations, from estimating and invoicing to managing productivity and maintaining inventory.

Job

Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of technicians, fostering growth and productivity. Utilize technical expertise to ensure accurate repairs and maintenance of commercial trailers. Write precise estimates and invoices, including on-site visits if necessary. Process warranty claims and coordinate parts ordering with the Parts Manager. Organize trailer storage lots, manage steel disposal, and maintain inventory. Serve as the primary customer contact, ensuring satisfaction and resolving issues. Review monthly financials to optimize department profitability. Perform minor maintenance and inspections on company fleet vehicles. Inspect incoming and outgoing customer trailers for accuracy. Coordinate trailer moves with the Transportation Department and assist with inventory checks for the Sales Department.

Qualifications: Strong leadership and management

skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team. In-depth knowledge of semi-trailer components and repair standards. Computer literacy with proficiency in estimating, invoicing, and processing warranty claims. Background in hydraulics, including lift gates and moving axle trailers.

Experience in organizing and optimizing trailer storage lots. Excellent customer service and communication

skills. Ability to review and analyze monthly financials. Valid driver's license with the ability to move trailers in and out of bays.

Experience in minor maintenance and inspections of vehicles.
