Role Overview & Specifications
A rapidly growing food manufacturing company requires an apprentice business office admin assistant to work from 08.00 to 15.00 Monday to Friday.
A free meal is provided daily as well as hot and cold drinks.
You will be assisting the operations manager with the day-to-day operations of the company and the ongoing relationships with existing customers. You will report to the Operations Manager.
You will ideally possess the following attributes and skills:- · Good communication and interpersonal skills
- · Good level of maths and English
- · Ability to communicate with customers and staff
- · Team player – ability to work as part of the team
- · Provide admin support to the operations manager and the admin team
- · Handling sensitive and confidential information
- · Maintain manual and computerised records/management systems
- · Undertake word processing tasks
- · File /store record data and information in line with procedures
- · To ensure all food is ordered correctly in line with daily recipe cards
- · Type up and process customer orders
- · Answer the telephone
- · Work with spreadsheets and CRM systems
- · Printing – labels for products, Menus, orders etc
- · Keeping offices and work area clean and tidy.
- · Any AD HOC Duties.
These duties are neither static or exhaustive and at the discretion of the Operations Manager may change.
Qualifications
- GCSE or equivalent English & maths (Grade Grade 4-9 or C to A*) desirable
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will attend Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber Training one day every two weeks and achieve the following qualifications:
- Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration
