experienced financial services PR and corporate communications professional, a natural storyteller with a proactive approach to media relations and a track record of enhancing investment firms' profiles and amplifying Chief Investment Officers' and senior leaders' voices? Comms Search & Selection have been retained by Hines, a premier global real estate investment management firm, to appoint a newly created Director of Investment Management & Corporate Public Relations for the Americas. With a diverse portfolio and $95 billion in assets under management, Hines is dedicated to delivering exceptional value to investors and positively impacting the communities in which it operates. The Director of Investment Management & Corporate Public Relations will lead Hines' external public relations initiatives to support capital raising and enhance the company's visibility among institutional investors, financial advisors, and the broader financial services community, primarily within the US. The Director will promote Hines' private institutional vehicles and private wealth platform, including a global non-traded REIT, a DST, and private placements. This role will also amplify the eminence of our Global CIO based in the US and other related executives.

Responsibilities:Media Relations: Serve as the chief spokesperson for Hines IM, establishing and maintaining relationships with key media outlets in the financial services sector, managing media inquiries, and leading proactive media outreach.

Press Execution: Develop and distribute press materials, including releases, statements, Q&A documents, and talking points, ensuring consistency with Hines' global corporate messaging.

Agency Management: Manage the partnership with a public relations and communications agency focused on the financial services sector in the Americas.

Global Connectivity: Collaborate with PR leads in other regions to ensure unified messaging and brand representation across markets.

Crisis Management: Oversee communication strategies during crises, coordinating messaging and acting as a spokesperson to maintain Hines' reputational integrity. Candidate Profile:A bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field, with advanced studies in communications or financial services, viewed favourably.A minimum of 10 years of

experience in corporate communications or public relations within the financial services industry, ideally with a focus on real estate investment management.Demonstrated success in media relations, with established connections to leading financial news outlets.Proven ability to craft and implement effective communication strategies that support business objectives and enhance corporate reputation.Strong leadership capabilities, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage complex issues effectively. Location: New York preferred, but open to applications in Boston, Chicago and Washington D.C. Pay: $185,000 to $265,000 plus bonus and excellent
