Description
The Division Of Finance And Administration Provides For The Financial
responsibilities and operational support of the Department and those we service.
The Division establishes and maintains the operational budget of the Department and provides operational support by ensuring programs have funding to maintain services and supports to the aging and disabled populations served the department.
The department works with a very diverse population, community resources, the court system, community partners, and family members of individuals appointed to guardianship and other Cabinet and department staff in a collaborative relationship. The Department is looking for an individual with the passion to provide support services to programs serving the most vulnerable citizens of the Commonwealth.
The successful candidate should be professional, polite, and able to work with a diverse population and work force. They should be responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly and able to ask for assistance or guidance when needed. The successful candidate must be comfortable with computers, excel at both verbal and written communications, and have the drive to meet the needs of those we serve.

Job
Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
Analyzes and monitors revenues, expenditures, al
locations and other financial
requirements for the department, federal grantors, and contract agencies. Monitors and tracks receipts and expenditures to ensure they are maintained according to regulatory and policy standards. Tracks contract agencies match
requirements for funding appropriations and reviews for approval purchase requests. Monitors provider agencies and works to resolve issues that impact the agencies budget and suggests strategies for improvement. Provides technical assistance and oversight to contract agencies as needed. Assists with the departments budget and amendments as needed. Advises management on financial issues and recommends solutions. Provides budgetary projections and need for real
location of contracted funding as needed. Other
duties as assigned.

Requirements

experience in statistical or policy analysis, accounting, auditing, planning, or a related field.
