Position:Equipment Administrator (Customer Service)

Reporting to:Asset Manager

Location

Head Office, Glasgow

Job Type:Full time, permanent

Salary & Benefits:£22,390 per year + 28 days annual leave + 4 public holidays, healthcare cash plan, life insurance, private pension, staff discounts and more!


Purpose of Role:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrator to apply for a full time, permanent vacancy. In your new role you will be working independently and liaising with colleagues and customers to ensure tasks are successfully carried out.



In your new role, you will:

Equipment Collection:

  • To arrange collection of equipment from customers
  • Generate report showing machines requiring collection
  • Support drivers/carriers to ensure effective collection
  • Liaise with Internal Sales and Field Sales with relevant customer information.
  • Informing Warehouse team of delivery dates


Equipment Dispatch:

  • Check and create assets where needed
  • Ensure all movements have taken place


Support for Administrative Activities:

  • Fully understand procedures relating to booking machines in and booking machines out
  • Work with the Group Equipment Control Manager to investigate discrepancies and correct where necessary
  • Look for opportunities to improve the current processes in place, and be involved in actions to ensure improvements are put in place


Team Working:

As part of the Operations team a flexible approach is required:

  • Assist other team members within the Operations department where required
  • Provide cover and support to the Group Equipment Control Manager as and when necessary.


Skills / Knowledge:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Basic problem-solving
  • Able to multi-task effectively
  • Willing to take on a varying range of duties
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Telephone customer service
  • IT competent in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel) to intermediate level

Experience



  • Administrative/office experience
  • Scheduling
