Permanent, Full Time, 37 Hours Mon - Fri

Our busy maintenance team carry out repairs on around 30,000 customer homes within the Coventry, Birmingham & Worcester area.

As Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of experienced Trade Engineers and Contractors carrying out domestic works in a social housing setting.

In housing you can make a real difference, the role of Supervisor (Maintenance)

To manage the delivery of high quality voids, reactive repairs or planned works, through an assigned team of engineers and appropriate resources.

• 
  Having Excellent Communication skills. Able to work as part of a team.
• 
  Staff management including motivation, performance reviews, disciplinary and grievance matters

• Proven experience in a similar position within the social housing sector or construction sector
• 
  Knowledge of health and safety legislation and good practice, and experience of applying this knowledge in a repairs and maintenance setting.
• 
  Experience of undertaking detailed technical inspections of buildings and documenting findings
• 
  Decisive, capable and balanced in dealing with a wide range of day-to-day operational issues, decisions and pressures.
• 
  Full driving licence required

• 
  Proven ability to effectively manage and improve performance.
• 
  A working knowledge and understanding of ICT systems relevant to the business, including Microsoft Office.
