Role Overview & Specifications

A. To work as part of a team to deliver care and support to our service users

B. To meet and exceed defined standards in the delivery of care

C. To act as a Key Worker/Champion as required

D. To liaise with colleagues, senior staff and management to ensure effective communication.

Skills and Knowledge Required

· Health & Safety

· First Aid

· Basic Food Hygiene

· Maintaining confidentiality

· Completion and use of Care Plans

· Medication control and awareness or willing to be trained

· Minimising risk of abuse

· Social Services requirements

· National Care Standards

· Care skills to NVQ LEVEL 2 or 3 or willing to work towards these

Consideration may be given to applicants without this existing knowledge

  • Ability to use initiative to identify improvements required and solutions to problems
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Friendly manner to other staff and service users
  • Attention to detail, particularly in relation to the care needs of our service users.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 0-24 per week

Salary: £11.04-£11.24 per hour

Schedule:

  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Abergele, LL22 9ER: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
