The Acting Head Teacher and Governors of St Mary’s School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and dedicated teacher for a mixed year group class.
St Mary’s is a small Catholic Primary School in the heart of Carmarthen, and we are looking for a teacher who will:
- be part of our distinctive Catholic ethos, helping to support and deliver the moral values that are the foundation of our learning community
- be creative and able to inspire learning
- be inclusive and support equity of opportunity for all learners
- have high expectations and aspirations for our pupils
- enjoy working as part of a committed team
The successful candidate must have excellent teaching and interpersonal skills.
The ability to contribute to extra-curricular activities would be an advantage.
Only a Catholic Education Service (CES) application form may be used.

The successful applicant will need to be registered with the Education Workforce Council for Wales before appointment.
A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this post.
You will need a basic knowledge of Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
