Job Description And
Duties
The Associate Governmental Program Analysts will independently perform a variety of the more responsible, complex, and varied grant manager
duties associated with the administration of all beverage container grant and payment programs in the unit.
Performing The
duties of this position will require internal and external stakeholder engagement, monitoring and managing grant proposals and projects, and actively participating in a team environment to continually improve all programs. Additional
duties include serving as a field representative and grant manager in assigned region working with varied stakeholder groups; providing technical assistance to grantees in the development/implementation of effective and sustainable grant projects; analyze performance of grant-funded activities to determine effectiveness and sustainability; researching, collecting, and analyzing data and information on program issues affecting policies/projects in the Section; conducting site visits with stakeholders; conducting and participating in outreach efforts in the form of workshops and conferences, This position may require travel and may include overnight travel, not to exceed 15% per year, which may require an adjustment to the employee’s
work schedule.
This position requires that you possess and maintain a valid California Drivers License (CDL). You must answer the questions addressing your CDL on your applications. Ensure you provide your CDL number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions. Failing to maintain a valid CDL will result in a failure to meet job
requirements.
This position may be eligible for hybrid telework under Government Code 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California, subject to the candidate meeting telework eligibility criteria set forth in the CalEPA telework policy and/or future program need. Employees not residing in California are not eligible for telework. Regardless of telework eligibility, all employees may be required to report to the position’s designated headquarters
location, as indicated on their duty statement, at their own expense.
