Position

Summary - A successful candidate will provide technical oversight of staff, project management, and be an active participant on various projects for the Department of Defense and other government and commercial clients. Projects the Senior Engineering Manager will manage will tangibly improve military readiness by addressing and preventing corrosion on air, ground, and sea weapons systems as well as infrastructure assets.

This is a senior level management position. As such the following can be expected:Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering work on multiple significant programs.Serve as major clients' primary point of contact.Identify correct labor

skills and direct/manage teams of engineers and subcontractors on projects.Serve as primary reviewer for project work, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and client's scope of work.

Requirements -Travel will be required and varies by job assignment (expected minimum of 20%)Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and be willing to pursue (or have) a Government security clearance A minimum of ten years of relevant

experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Advanced

education and/or Industry Certificates may substitute for up to five years of serviceRelated

experience managing projects and mentoring/supervising junior staff in corrosion, coatings, or cathodic protection.Relevant

experience in managing engineering, testing, field services, logistics, or other support projects for DoD customers may be considered in lieu of direct corrosion or coatings

experienceSubject matter expert level technical competency in corrosion and corrosion control methods. - required.Prior

experience working in the Department of Defense arena.The candidate should have demonstratable

experience with the use of basic hand tools and familiarity with electronic and mechanical systems, and laboratory test equipment
