The Sales Coordinator – Individual Plans provides concierge administrative support to the Head of Sales for Individual Plans. The Sales Coordinator - IP researches, analyzes and evaluates business possibilities. This role helps facilitate individual sales for supplemental insurance brands. The Sales Coordinator - IP serves as a direct point of contact for current and prospective agents. Instrumental in promoting company values, identifying, and assessing the needs of our agents and providing resolutions. This role's primary purpose is to build agent relationships while in turn increasing agent's participation rate for our products and services. The Sales Coordinator will assist in providing ongoing consultative services to clients and help develop client strategy, interfacing directly with clients on regulatory, service and training. Individuals in this role are to always adhere to the company's mission, vision, and values statement. They serve as the point of contact for prospective and new business relationships with brokers and clients; and an escalated point of contact for all future client service needs. Other

Position
Requirements: 3 plus years of
experience with Medicare supplemental insurance3 to 5 years general office
experience with a background in sales customer service.Working knowledge and
experience with Salesforce work tools.
Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products.Ability to present to brokers in person and over Microsoft Teams.Life and Health licenseBachelor's Degree or the equivalent work
experienceUp to 10% travel may be required
Position
Responsibilities:Primary role is to provide administrative sales support to the Head of Individual Sales, including calendar management.Scheduling and organizing agent meetings, conferences, and teleconferences.The ability to generate and track sales leads, manage various tasks within Salesforce and identify sales opportunities to support targeted sales recruits.High aptitude for quickly learning and navigating new systems.Must learn our underwriting guidelines, e-app and enrollment forms.Must be able to work with operations team to resolve issues and inquiries for clients.Prepare Request for Proposals (RFP) for presentation to brokers and clients; analyze client and market data, current and proposed product designs, market comparison data and strategies for initial sales options.Negotiate proposals with Underwriting and/or appropriate stakeholders to effectively achieve desired sales results.Must stay current with insurance trends and products through conferences and continuing
education.Handle a volume of daily outbound calls to current agents to build loyalty and promote our brand.Handle minimal to moderate volume of daily incoming calls) regarding policy updates/requests from our agents and clients.Document all agent interactions in the CRM; includes recording the details of the call and action taken.Display a strong knowledge of the company product lines and services.Have the ability to provide technical support with our Agent/Client portal.Provide guidance and assistance to business development personnel;Assist with training and
education of agents.Assist with marketing and operational projects; planning and development of marketing programs and materials, preparing marketing kits and various branding materials.Must be willing to cross-train on all pertinent department functions.
