Essential Requirements: Qualification - NPTC certification in tree works
The Role:Bolton Council is seeking to recruit an NPTC qualified Tree Surgeon to work as part of a small in-house team, to carry out all aspects of Arboriculture tree works on council land within the borough. This will include trees on Highways, in parks and throughout the Council’s extensive woodlands.
The team utilise a high-level platform where possible, but you will also be required to climb and carry out aerial works. All equipment and protective clothing is provided. You will be an individual with a passion for the environment to take an active role in the protection and management of the borough’s trees.
You will be flexible and reliable with a thorough proven knowledge of all aspects of tree work: ground and aerial.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £21,968.00-£24,054.00 per year
