Your Role
The Senior Markets Performance Improvement, Sales Operations, and Analysis team define, develop, and implement the end-to-end capabilities required to provide member and broker
experience that is scalable through seamlessly operationalized services including but not limited to Medicare Advantage, Prescription Drug Plans and Medicare Supplement product lines. The Senior Manager, Program and Project Management will report to the Director, Performance Improvement, Sales Operations, and Analysis. In this role you will be a key leader within the Senior Markets Performance Optimization team and efforts will be critical to achieving process improvements realizing increasing operational performance, membership growth and retention goals through long-term sustainable processes which successfully operationalize changes to create the best member
experience for prospects, members, and brokers. Your Work
In this role, you will:
Partner with business drivers to execute on sub portfolio delivery including schedule, scope, resource management, financials, benefit tracking, knowledge of emerging technologies and issue/risk management to ensure successful completion of all projects and programs in support of the business strategiesPartner with managers to manage intake, Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimation and demand/ capacity to ensure projects within the program meet cost, resource, environment, schedule, and other constraints within their domainProvide oversight and direction of all the projects and releases within the sub portfolio (schedule, issues/risks, budget, resources, and PPM/PWA adherence)Oversee and manage senior project managers, project managers and analysts in support of the delivery of the sub portfolioBe accountable for ensuring overall program and project delivery, schedule and budget attainment, and effective management of leadership expectations in achieving overall desired outcomes, results, and deliverablesDevelop and contribute to the development of goals for the department and planning efforts (budgets, operational plans, etc.)Gather detailed information, analyze and investigate issues to understand the problem and impactsExplain policies, practices and procedures through communications to stakeholder groups across departments to influence and contribute to long-term direction for the job function, which may include external customers, members or vendorsSupport executive stakeholders to deliver on the aligned product outcomesEnsure agile team blockers and conflicts are resolved in a timely manner Manage an
experienced team. Lead, direct and review the work of team who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments including overall hiring, firing, promotion and reward authority within own department, in accordance with organization guidelines
Qualifications
Your Knowledge And
Experience
Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent
experienceRequires at least 10 years of prior relevant
experience, including 4 years of management
experienceRequires at least 3 years of managed care / health plan
experience Requires at least 2 years of
experience implementing Agile methodologies, including direct or indirect management of an agile delivery teamDemonstrated understanding of Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement product lines preferredProven ability to apply strategic and systems thinking to end-to-end solution design that align with business unit goals and objectivesDemonstrated business readiness
experience through process design,
requirements inputs, testing and tracking practices to successfully deliver new capabilities to internal and external market facing improvementsPractical knowledge in leading and managing the business readiness execution of processes, projects, and tactics
Pay Range
The pay range for this role is: $ 136400.00 to $ 204600.00 for California.
