Machine Operator

A Machine Operator is required within a busy manufacturing company in Taunton. Long-term progression on offer to successful candidates who show they are keen and hard working.

Duties will include;

• Basic experience in operating machinery
• Use of hand/power tools
• Assembly and production work
• General factory duties, including cleaning and maintaining a tidy workspace
• Quality checks
• Basic paperwork duties

The successful candidate will need:

• Previous experience within a factory
• A hard-working mentality
• Punctuality and reliability
• Good level of written and verbal communication
• A keen interest in engineering
• Computer skills an advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £22,500.00-£28,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Supplemental pay types:

• Yearly bonus

• Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
