Role Overview & Specifications

· 1-3 years plus of credit analysis experience from either a corporate bank, ratings agency or accountancy firm?

· Knowledge of leveraged finance will be beneficial.

Leveraged Finance Credit Analyst

Global Corporate Investment Bank is going through a period of expansion due to an increase in trading activity. Our client, based in their London office, is looking to add a Leveraged Finance Credit Analyst to the Credit Team.

Leveraged Finance Credit Analyst:

  • Review credit submissions from Front Office providing recommendations to Approvers.
  • A second line of defence role providing credit risk management / oversight of new leveraged finance transactions and the existing leveraged finance portfolio across EMEA.
  • Risk assessment of new leverage finance transactions and management of a portfolio of leverage credits including Special Credits.
  • Working as a trusted partner with the Front Office deal teams.
  • Articulate CD risk perception and appetite for a transaction.
  • Collaborate with other risk and compliance functions.
  • Express well-reasoned arguments and influence senior management.
  • Assist in recruitment and training of more junior staff.

Salary: £60,000.00-£75,000.00 per year
