Bazaarvoice’s Catalog team is looking for a talented QA Automation Engineer. You’ll be engaged in all aspects of SDLC, including architecture, design, specs, tests, development, and delivery. As a QA advocate, you’ll be reviewing new features that come in, assessing them, writing test plans, and working with developers to understand their impact on performance. You’ll also contribute to the test, writing and maintaining the test suite that supports this effort. Responsibilities

• 
  Design, code and implement automated web UI and API tests
• 
  Develop and execute testing strategies, test automation and test engineering technologies
• 
  Develop and maintain test cases and plans in a Unix environment
• 
  Partner with developers to investigate, evaluate and resolve bugs

Required Skills:

• 
  Experience performing quality engineering, designing and coding automated tests in Java and Selenium
• 
  Experience coding in backend JavaScript or Typescript
• 
  Experience creating or maintaining automation in a Continuous Integration environment
• 
  Experience writing test plans and test cases in an end-to-end and full-stack testing environment
• 
  Experience working in an agile environment
• 
  Experience with performance testing
• 
  Excellent oral and written communication skills

Desired Skills:

• 
  Familiarity with git, github, and a unix-based command-line
• 
  Familiarity with test frameworks such as Jest and Playwright
• 
  Previous experience with Jira or any other issues tracking software (e.g. Bugzilla, Gnats, etc.)
