Position
Overview
Our client is looking for a Paralegal to join their Miami office and support a team of 7-10 Attorneys. The Paralegal will be responsible for supporting various clerical needs of attorneys – scheduling meetings/depositions, drafting and filing documents, tracking, and auditing time, and other ad hoc work. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail and time management
skills.
Responsibilities Of The Paralegal
Track and audit attorney time Monitor attorney inbox for relevant information Maintain attorney calendar and schedule File and record confidential and legal documents appropriately Assist in preparation for meetings, hearings, depositions, closings, etc. by gathering related documents, supplies and resources needed Schedule couriers, court reporters, expert witnesses, and other special functions Prepare charts, graphs, and other courtroom visuals Prepare expense reports
Qualifications For The Paralegal
7+ years of Paralegal
Experience
Experience in Litigation or Real Estate Law is a plus but not required Knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, etc. Prior knowledge of Westlaw, Lexis, Court Map, E-filing, and MS Excel
Education
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
