Project Support Specialist

ASRC Federal AFSS is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. We are seeking a Project Support Specialist to support a NASA contract in Greenbelt, MD.

Responsibilities

Collaborate With Business Stakeholders To Understand Reporting And Analytics

requirements.Clean and preprocess raw data for analysis purposes.Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources to support reporting needs.Create and maintain data models to facilitate efficient reporting and analysis.Conduct data quality assessments and implement data cleansing processes. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in business intelligence.Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.Develop and implement machine learning models for predictive analytics.Present findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.Additional

duties as assigned.

Requirements

Ability to multi-task with various projects. Ability to learn quickly and think critically to create innovative solutions for customer and employee needs.

Experience with data extraction and manipulation.

Experience leveraging data science practices to drive real-world decision making.Proficiency with SQL, Python, Java, and Javascript.Strong knowledge of Office 365 suite (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Proactive customer service

skills with strong problem-solving

skills and the ability to anticipate customer needs by recognizing areas of opportunity and quickly providing solutions. Individual must meet government NAC and citizenship/permanent residency

requirements for access to NASA GSFC. Extensive background investigation will be performed as a requirement of the job.
