ASRC Federal requires a highly motivated Project Specialist to support the ASTROS Contract. Be a part of the team that is at the forefront of developing public/private partnerships supporting in-space propulsion and rocket-powered research & testing at a one-of-a-kind national testing facility. The ideal candidate has an interest, a passion, and possibly some
experience in project management. ASRC Federal is supporting cutting edge propulsion systems testing at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) and we are looking for the best people to be a part of this research.
Ensure communication is occurring between vendors, customers, ASRC team mates and associated projects.Review and understand the
requirements of the assigned project.Build project
requirements list and post updates continually until project is complete.Assist in the development of business proposalsAssist in the development of complex cost estimatesAssist in the management of, and report weekly project costs to contract management and customers, ensuring transparency and adherence to budget constraints.Detailed documentation and organization of project information.Reviewing project schedules with meeting milestones in mind.Monitor resource management.Organize and lead regular meetings with the project team to obtain updates, identify issues, and drive progress.Report project successes to contract management.

benefits packages. This position is offering a pay range of $65,000 - $96,000 depending on
experience, seniority, geographic
locations, and other factors permitted by law.

Experience using MS OneNote, Teams and SharePointIntermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Experience In Managing Project Financemust Have Great Customer Service
skills and able to communicate the status of project and understand deadlinesMust have the ability and comfortability to present, both online and live in-person, to anywhere from 2 to 300 peopleMust have ability to manage a defined schedule and communicate any deviationsPrompt and steady attendance is vital to the success of this positionMust possess strong computer
skills, including the ability to set up equipment for presentations and troubleshoot basic technical issues independentlyMust have a valid CA driver's licenseMust be able to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance
Education
High School diploma4-5 years relevant
experience in executive assistance, office administration, project management, etcRelevant College Degree can count towards
experienceCompletion of Technical Courses (i.e. Excel, MS Project, Agile/Scrum, Contract Management or similar subjects).
Attendance is critical at all times during normal duty hours. Work outside of normal duty hours may be required with as little as one hour advance notice.
