Position Description

As the IT Purchasing Specialist, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

Understand and comply with Applied Medical's Quality Systems (QS), safety rules and company policiesSupport, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of Applied MedicalLearn the Applied Technology Services Business ProcessesObtain quotes, create purchase requisitions, and route signatures for the IT Purchasing teamResearch and procure information technology (IT) hardware, software, and licensesWork with IT team members to obtain cost centers to be charged for purchases and charge-backsCollaborate with internal customers regarding

requirements and support of technology purchasesAssist in developing and enhancing the processes for the IT Purchasing teamCreate monthly purchasing reports for management and team membersIdentify and resolve issues in a timely mannerParticipate in process improvement initiatives within the ATS departmentAct as a point of escalation for challenges, concerns, and ideasHandle frequent changes, delays, or unexpected eventsAct as a champion for the team in the larger IT organization

This Position Requires The Following

skills and attributes:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant work

experienceGeneral knowledge of hardware and software, including IT service desk, contract management, and copier vendorsSkilled with Microsoft Office 365, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel, and with Adobe AcrobatPossesses outstanding organizational

skills, attention to detail, and project management

skillsStrong written, verbal and presentation communications

skills Adapt to changes in the work environment and manage competing demandsWork and remain calm in a fast-paced, pressurized environmentPerform multiple tasks and projects concurrently using exemplary time-management

Preferred

Benefits

The Base

compensation range for this role is $25 - $33 / hour for the position in California. Actual

compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of

experience, certifications, and specific work

location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries in California based on the date of this job posting. Your recruiter can share more about the specific
