Job Description

Apex Systems is in search of a Network Administrator to support a 6 month project for one of our top healthcare clients in the DC/Northern VA area.

As a Network Administrator for this project, you will be responsible upgrading and fixing the current infrastructure. Specifically working with APC UPS 2k and 5K, 120VAC/208VAC Transfer Switch, APC Management Card and PDUs. In the upcoming months, you will also be responsible for deploying new Switches and APCs.

Pay: negotiable based upon expeirence - paid weekly on W2

Schedule: overnight schedule, typicaly Sun-Thurs 11PM-4AM

Experience

Three or more years, minimum, of

experience in an enterprise networking environment with both administration and problem resolution of enterprise Cisco equipment required.Two years, minimum, of

experience working hands on with enterprise ticketing systems, network monitoring tools and packet capture tools.Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP and other protocols including OSPF, EIGRP, spanning tree, DNS, DHCP and firewall policies.Candidate must have strong, demonstrable

skills in following and appropriately applying established policies and procedures.
