Laboratory Coordinator

Summary:The main function of this role of Laboratory Data Administrative Specialist is to accurately input sample data to the Laboratory Information Management System. This position is in a microbiology lab that is projected to process more than 85,000 samples this year. Seeking a candidate who is interested to work in a fast-paced environment to support the laboratory team.

Responsibilities:Primary – High volume data Entry of customer and sample information into LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System).File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reportsOpen, sort and distribute incoming correspondence, including email and phone messagesPrepare responses to correspondence containing routing inquiriesLight laboratory tasks such as storing and disposal of completed samples

Environment:Candidate will be performing office-based work in a lab environment. Seeking a candidate who is comfortable with exposure to the lab. Candidates who have performed data entry/clerical in a lab or plant environment previously may be a good fit.
