The
responsibilities of this position will give you opportunities to learn something new every day and collaborate cross-functionally among all areas of the Supply Chain as well as the Sales, Product Development, and Finance departments.
The Supply Chain Coordinator will work closely with, and report to, the Supply Chain Director to maintain and improve the supply chain, as well as perform functional tasks to support operations.
What you will do:Rotate through various supply chain functions and
experience various assignments in the following departments:PurchasingLogisticsProduction PlanningAnalysis and ReportingWarehousingQuality AssuranceDemand Planning
Assist in placing domestic and export purchase orders, confirming pricing and shipment timing, and communicating with vendors.Involvement in procurement and analysis of purchasing product and materials.Assist the logistics department in updating shipping information, securing container space, tracking shipment arrivals and shipment costs.Support production planning with analysis of forecasting.Support supply chain initiatives and new process improvement implementations.Maintain effective communication with internal departments and external vendors as well as the team in China.Work cross functionally among teams to engage stakeholders and allocate resources.Demonstrate strong leadership
skills to grow into a management role and to be able to coach and develop those throughout the organization
What you bring to the team:Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, business, or a related field preferred Minimum of 2+ years'
experience in an internship or other
experience in an analytical role within a supply chain/operational setting
Experience in Microsoft Office suite and intermediate proficiency in Excel is requiredStrong analytical, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication
skills coupled with the ability to lead a team on multiple projects.ERP
experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plusHigh-integrity team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow
