Job Opportunity: Legal Assistant (Hybrid Role) Managed Care SpecialistOur esteemed client is seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant to join their dynamic team in a hybrid role based in Nashville, TN. As a Legal Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting legal processes and ensuring seamless communication between internal and external stakeholders. This position offers a unique blend of remote and onsite work, providing an enriching work environment that fosters growth and collaboration.
Key
Responsibilities:Assessment of Eligibility: Evaluate individual and family eligibility for our client's care programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Schedule Coordination: Assist in organizing and communicating schedules to internal and external clients, facilitating efficient workflow management.
Case Management: Conduct client interviews, gather relevant information, and compile data to provide actionable recommendations to attorneys. Manage casework diligently, ensuring proper documentation and timely resolution.
Legal Support: Conduct legal research, analyze documents, and draft legal materials with precision. Document findings meticulously and assist in maintaining legal databases.
Team Collaboration: Actively participate in workgroup meetings, contributing insights and supporting the leadership team as needed.
Requirements And
Skills
Educational Background: Bachelor's or Associate's degree is required, with preference given to candidates with a background in Paralegal studies.
Experience: Prior work
experience in a legal environment or related field is advantageous. Customer service or call center
experience is a plus.
Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.) is essential.
Time Management: Excellent time management
skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.Communication
Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication
skills, with keen attention to detail and adherence to professional standards.Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, coupled with effective note-taking and email organization
