Job Description

AECOM is seeking an Architecture Designer II to be based in our Boston, MA office.

The Architecture Designer Will Be Responsible For The Following Items

Performing basic architectural/engineering calculations Preparing specifications, reports, and related data tables Maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may perform technical assignments of moderate complexity within approved schedules and budgets May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel

Qualifications

Minimum

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture plus two (2) years of relevant

experience or demonstrated equivalency of

experience and/or

education Professional

experience using Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite

Preferred

Qualifications

Enrolled In Ncarb Architectural

Experience program (AXP), formerly Intern Development Program (IDP) and actively seeking state Architecture Registration Certification as a LEED Accredited Professional by the USGBC Diverse knowledge of architectural principles and practices Ability to clearly communicate with clients and peers Strong written and verbal communication

skills Strong technical

skills related to visualization, planning, and architectural design Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as be able to work closely with and collaborate with multidiscipline design team
