Amcrete - Concrete Finisher

Summary: The concrete finisher effectively pours, places, and finishes concrete on a variety of surfaces with assistance from concrete laborers.

Primary Job

Responsibilities:Sets the forms to hold concrete in place

Cleans And Inspects Surfaces For Pouring Issues

Directs The Casting Of The Concrete

Pours, smooths, and levels concrete using a rake, trowel, float, and screed, including the use of handheld and/or power tools

Monitors The Effects Of The Weather On The Curing Process

Applies Sealing And Hardening Components

Operates Power Vibrator To Ensure The Concrete Is Compacted

Adheres to the company’s safety policies to create a safe work environment

Qualifications/

Skills

High School Diploma/ged

Sufficient

education or an equivalent combination of

experience,

education and training that provides the desired knowledge,

skills, and characteristics to perform

duties of the role

10 Hour OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain within ninety (90) days of employment

Must Obtain Proper Training And Certifications Prior To Operating Equipment

Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions consisting of wet, hot, humid and/or freezing temperatures, also contending with dirt and dust

Ability To Use Equipment And Tools In A Safe And Efficient Manner

Must maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
