Mechanical Designer

Description

Actalent is looking for a mechanical design engineer in the SLC, Utah area - this person will take R&D drawings, documents and format them into work/maintenance instructions. This company is a med-device manufacturer, therefore the change orders will need robust documentation. Most of their time will be spent creating

qualifications for the equipment. They will be creating the work instructions and then running the risk assessment - they will need to root cause with cross functional teams. This position is heavy documentation and lots of communicating between cross functional teams. The candidate will be expected to expand on their implementation

experience with respect to change orders and provide examples of how they completed projects.

This is a new process and system for the team so there will be a lot of engineering change orders and documentation back and forth between teams on modifications that need to be made and why.
