NIGHT SHIFT Delivery Driver

JPM LOGISTICS are looking for nocturnal people who are passionate about doorstep delivery. Working self-employed, you will join our team delivering fresh milk, juice and groceries over 6 nights a week for our client The Modern Milkman.

• Be available to provide your delivery services over 6 nights a week (Sunday to Friday)
• Start times between 21:30 & 23:00, Finish time approx 07:30
• Deliver 200 - 250 stops per night at peak times (varying dependant on business needs - rounds are calculated so not to exceed 07:30)
• Work on a self-employed basis
• Provide a reliable service with attention on customer service and accuracy

As a delivery service provider, you'll need to

• Be a confident and proficient driver with a can-do attitude
• Have a UK driving licence with 6 points or less (full driving licence checks will be carried out)
• Have flexibility to cover deliveries in various catchment areas
• Work well under pressure on your own and as part of a team
• Be comfortable delivering through the night, in all weather conditions, often by yourself (with a support team)
• Be physically fit and able to carry out your services quickly and efficiently, as this is a fast-paced environment
• Hold a smartphone with IOS 12 or Android 10 with in an car holder and charger

• A taster night/ride along with a driver to understand the role
• Reduced deliveries during training

• Product knowledge

• Base pay £510 per week pro rata (£85 per night)
• Performance based bonuses over 160 deliveries (up to £45.00+ per night)
• Up to 6 nights available each week

• Pick up customer purchased products from a hub and load them onto the van
• Operate a user-friendly app for smooth deliveries in a given catchment area
• Deliver the correct products to correct addresses and follow any customer delivery instructions accurately to maximise performance bonus
• Collect empty bottles from customers doorsteps
• Drop the empty bottles back at the hub to be washed and reused (usually on the following night when collecting the next nights deliveries)
